And based on the fact that its metrics measure around the user experience, a successful SEO campaign needs to focus on the UX aspect at its core.

Generally speaking, I believe impressions are an underrated indicator of SEO success. They are a key metric that show how well your website is doing in the SERPS and have a large impact on your organic traffic.
